Irshaad Issufo

Irshaad is part of LeapFrog’s Strategic African Investments team, which focuses on the strategic partnership between LeapFrog and Prudential.

An accountant by profession, Irshaad had been part of LeapFrog’s financial reporting team prior to joining the investment team. As an integral member of the reporting team for more than two years, Irshaad was primarily focused on redesigning and reengineering existing finance processes as well as introducing operational efficiencies and changes to the department. Before LeapFrog, Irshaad was an independent consultant who worked on various projects on the continent which saw him take up a number of financial manager roles where he assisted, and sometimes led, due diligence projects, process improvement, and financial accounting and advisory projects.

Irshaad completed his articles at EY in 2013. He holds a Higher Diploma in Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from the University of Witwatersrand and is also a member of the South Africa Institute of Chartered Accountants.
