Laura Kemp-PedersenHead of Global Brand and Marketing
Laura oversees LeapFrog’s global communications, brand and marketing activities. A deeply experienced global marketing leader, board advisor and strategist, Laura is widely recognised for her track record leading initiatives around purpose, brand and product.
Prior to LeapFrog, Laura was with GSMA, the global industry association for mobile operators. As Senior Director, Global Advocacy, Marketing and Industry Purpose, Laura developed a groundbreaking unified social purpose and implementation plan for the mobile industry. Under Laura’s stewardship, mobile became the first industry to work together in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and Laura’s work also served to deepen engagements between government IT ministers, mobile companies, the World Bank and United Nations.
Earlier, Laura was a senior marketing director at Dell, working in a number of roles, including corporate communications, brand marketing and, finally Director of Global Marketing for Marketing Operations. Laura began her career in public relations.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Western Ontario, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Corporate Communications from Seneca College, where she graduated with Distinction.
