Stuart oversees LeapFrog’s legal functions, leading matters of governance, risk management and strategic change across the globe.
Stuart is widely recognised for his extensive transactional and emerging markets experience. Stuart has more than 20 years of legal experience advising on M&As, IPOs and placings across Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Prior to LeapFrog, Stuart served as Partner at Linklaters, a global law firm, where he was most recently Head of the London Corporate Division and the Private Equity Group. Stuart has led approximately US $40 billion of legal transactions spanning financial services, food and beverages, mining, infrastructure and energy sectors. He has managed relationships with Carlyle, TIAA-CREF, Khazanah, Temasek and Standard Chartered Principal Finance. Earlier in his career at Linklaters, Stuart was Head of of the Corporate Division for Asia.
Stuart has obtained his legal practice qualifications at Chester College of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Land Economy from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he graduated with honours. Stuart also holds a Senior Management Diploma from OU Business School.
